It seems that the most dangerous job in the fast food business is working for a Chinese restaurant or a pizzeria as their food delivery man.
Over and over we hear on the news that a call is placed into a local Chinese take-out restaurant and the food delivery man arrives at the address, only to be knocked down and robbed.
The same goes with a pizza delivery guy trying to locate the address of the order, out from the bushes; two teenagers hold him by gunpoint and take fast food delivery guy's money with the pizza.

It抯 amazing what people would do to a quick $25 or less.
Usually these fast food delivery people do not carry much money, but seem to be a huge easy target for a robbery.
It does not matter the type of neighborhood either.
Fast food delivery people get robbed near college dorms, the projects, and upscale neighborhoods.
The people who robbed these fast food delivery individuals do it for the cash or as a prank.
Kids with too much time on their hands, feel the need to beat up on someone who barely makes minimum wage.

In April of 2006, a Chinese food deliveryman was ambushed after the suspects called in an order into a local Chinese take out place in Hollis Hills.
The total order was only $19,25.
However, the robbers did not know they address they gave the restaurant was occupied recently.
When the Chinese food delivery person arrived at the address, the occupant saw a man with a black ski mask with a gun.
The witness quickly dropped to the ground and heard a shot go off.
The witness called 911 and when paramedics came the Chinese food delivery guy had a bullet shot wound through the chest, inches from his heart.
While the fast food delivery person has recovered since, it is a wake call for all people in this line of business to take precautions to ensure his/her safety.
